Aug 21, 2009 : Peachtree Signs Agreement for $35-$50 Million Life Contingent Structured Settlements Fund

Boynton Beach, FL – August 20, 2009: Peachtree Financial Solutions has signed an agreement for $35 - $50 million in life-contingent structured settlement funds. “Although the markets have been exceptionally difficult, this agreement is another indication that the credit markets are normalizing and that investors recognize the value of these high credit quality, non-correlated assets,” said Hasham Malik, Peachtree’s Chief Capital Markets Officer.


“This is exciting news and it will allow Peachtree to remain at the leading edge of the structured settlement payment purchasing market,” adds Lori Wengatz, Vice President and Director of Peachtree’s Structured Settlements division.


The fund will benefit from an underwriting commitment from a large European bank, which will also be its principal distribution agent according to Peachtree.
